Check out Glenwood pool, a fun safe place for families to cool off on hot spring and summer days. Glenwood pool offers a low dive, sunning areas with chairs and lounges, locker rooms with showers, varying depth main pool, and concession stand. The pool is a great place to visit with friends and family while exercising and having fun.

RESIDENTS MAY PURCHASE A PUNCH CARD AND SAVE
Punch cards offer discounts for pool users. Cards can be purchased at the Macomb Park District office. Cards are transferable and have no expiration date. Cards from previous years will be honored. Cards work great for families, baby-sitters, and gifts. For your convenience you may keep your card on file at the pool with a list of family members who may use it. Punches are per visitor per day. (Evening swim is free with a hand stamp from the same day).

POOL RENTALS
Have your birthday, staff party, or family reunion at the pool! Rental fees must be received 14 days in advance of rental date to secure reservation. Available Fri., Sat., Sun., evenings. Call the Macomb Park District office at 833-4562 for arrangements. Concessions and larger group rates available. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted. There is a 2 hour minimal rental.
25 people.........$90 per hr.
26-50 people...$110 per hr.
51-75 people...$150 per hr.
POOL CLOSINGS
If the weather looks threatening, call 837-1183 before heading to the pool. The Pool Manager/Swim Coordinator is authorized to close the pool or cancel lessons for the remainder of the day because:

Temperature falls below 70 degrees for a continuous one hour period.

There is inclement weather with no sign of clearing.

There may be a situation that could jeopardize public health or safety.
SWIM LESSONS
Swimming not only teaches safety but also self confidence. Classes are for swimmers of all levels. Swim instructor tests participants the first day of class. Participants must preregister no later than the Friday before a lesson. Call the Macomb Park District office or look in the Summer Recreation Guide for details
PARENT-TOT: (PT)
Swimming program for infants/children ages 6 months to 4 years accompanied by a parent or guardian. Basic adjustment skills are covered. The lesson is 30 minutes.
Classes for Level 1 through 6 are 45 minutes.
